Cannes Film Festival 2023: Best Dressed Stars

The 2023 Cannes Film Festival has officially commenced and it's delivering all the glitz, glam and couture looks we come to expect from the star-studded event. Every May, the French Riviera transforms into a celebration of cinema — and fashion — as renown actors arrive at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.

This year, Swedish filmmaker Ruben Östlund, actress Brie Larson and The Batman‘s Paul Dano all join the festival's official jury. Highly anticipated films in the competition include Todd Haynes's May December starring Julianne Moore, Natalie Portman and Charles Melton and Wes Anderson‘s alien-invasion comedy Asteroid City starring Scarlett Johansson, Margot Robbie, Maya Hawke and Tom Hanks.

Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro will be shown out of competition, along with Sam Levinson's The Idol series with Lily-Rose Depp and Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye.

The 76th annual Cannes Film Festival will run through May 27, so be sure to see all of the best looks from the opening festivities, below, and check for more must-see moments over the next 10 days.

Eva Longoria attended the The Old Oak red carpet premiere in a sheer and intricately bedazzled Elie Saab Couture creation, teamed with Chopard jewels, styled by Maeve Reilly.

Styled by Emily Evans, Ashley Graham attended the amfAR Cannes Gala, wearing a look from designer Harris Reed‘s debut assortment for Nina Ricci's Fall/Winter 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection. Graham wore a a white blazer suit with flared pants, paired with a black polka-dot tulle blouse and wide-brim hat.

Coco Rocha wore a dramatic royal blue Gaurav Gupta design from the Spring/Summer 2023 Couture collection, previously worn by Cardi B at the 2023 Grammy Awards.

Halsey chose a Givenchy neon pink sheer silk organza frock with an open back from the Fall/Winter 2023 collection. The singer teamed the look with black leather long gloves, black leather G Lock pumps, and a stitch silver brass metal earcuff, encrusted with crystals at the amfAR Cannes Gala.

Teyana Taylor showed off her impressive chiseled abs in a Mônot gown from the Spring/Summer 2022 ready-to-wear collection, featuring a diagonal oval cutout that spans from each sleeve, revealing the entire torso.

Winnie Harlow stepped out in a white Ramzen Couture gown with an asymmetrical neckline, featuring one draped off-the-shoulder detailing and a voluminous ruffled shoulder on the other side. The creation included a pleated bodice and a thigh-high slit with a puddle train, teamed with white pumps and dazzling diamond jewels.

Actress Rebel Wilson, UK cricket star AJ Sangha and model Winnie Harlow attended the amfAR Cannes Gala, where guests sipped on Clase Azul Tequila.

The protruding mille feuille tulle gown featured an askew powder-blue askew dress, intentionally revealing her corset for a glitchy effect, teamed with Messika jewels, styled by Dani Michelle.
